Dont Overlook Me =]

The physically challenged in this context, refers to people who have physical disabilities or impairment, especially one that limit mobility. They are often wrongly regarded by some as not being able to contribute to the society in a meaningful way. As such, such misperception must be corrected. Unhampered by their disabilities, many physically challenged are able to overcome all odds in order to prove that they can equally capable as the rest of us in the society.  “When there is a will, there is a way”, what they need is a chance.

So the year 1 students from Advanced Diploma in Mass communication (Public Relation) from Tunku Abdul Rahman College, Penang Branch Campus (TARC) is organizing an awareness campaign on discovering talents of the physically challenged entitled “Don’t overlook me” on 20 July 2013 from 11.00 am to 3pm at Penang, Straits Quay.

It will be a one day event, serving as a platform to unveil the talents of the physically challenged people through stage performance and exhibition of their crafting skills. Through this, we hope to channel a message that the talents and abilities of the physically challenged can benefit business financially and organizationally. Besides, we will have the public to participate in several mini games together with them as personal involvement creates and enchance the understanding between both parties.

The event collaborated with a few welfare organizations to raise the awareness among the stakeholders which includes Society of the Disabled Person Penang (SDPP), Joblink Centre: Society For The Aid To The Handicapped, Penang Dead Association, ST Nicholas Home, Eden Handicapped Service Centre, Penang Cheshire home, Penang Handicapped Welfare Association and SIMA Handicapped centre.

So what are you waiting for??? COME AND JOIN US IN THIS MEANINFUL CAMPAIGN. For more details, click on their link http://www.facebook.com/pages/Dont-Overlook-Me/252860731523726.

The Croods xD

Hmmm, almost two month didn't blog already, miss the life which use to partying, blogging and hanging around with friends *sighhh*
Really don't know still got how many months I gotta stay in this little mountain ><

Keep telling myself, " Hey Yunice, please don't be emo =[ How to live with much fun and happy is depend on yourself, just create yourself some fun, don't hide and sigh there." But seems like useless *sad*

However, recently I jumped to morning shift and got little time to go for a movie. Although only one movie, but it motivated me. Let me knew that to gain more fun for myself instead of blaming that my life was so bored was important, my life will be more bored if I keep complaining ><

So start from today, I gonna be more more positive instead of keep complaining. xD RIGHTTT!!!

Come on. let me tell you which movie, is THE CROODS!

I always love to watch the cartoon by DreamWorks Animation. The Croods is one in my favourite list, Frankly, I love this movie muchhhhhh ♥
The Croods was a quite motivated cartoon in my own opinion, It tried to encourage audiences to stand out instead of hidding themselves.

I love the sentence which say by Eep,  "Hide inside the cave is not living, it is just not die". Indeed, living and not die are different, living have to live our life out, with different colors, different feeling, different experiences and more and more.

Grug tried to protect his whole family by hiding them in the cave, but end up in one day, the cave will be destroyed and they had to come out to survive without the cave also.
End up in the movie, Grug started to realize that hiding were not the only way.

Be brave to face what are happening now, try to find the ways out instead of hiding yourself from it.
You will don't know what are happening outside the world if you didn't not step out from the cave.
You will only know that how beautiful the bright of sun is when you first touch with it after living in all day long darkness.

The characters inside the movie were not as beautiful as princess or as smart as prince. But the story inside the movie made them to  look beautiful and smart xD When Guy protected Eep from the dangerous *don't know what type of birds that can finish a giant animal after a typhoon* it was so so touch =]

The Croods not only motivated, it got also a lot of funny scenes.*I laugh non-stop during watching*. xD
A super duper nice movie, I gonna watch it again. How about you? Have a try if you like cartoon or animation.

Hope you all will like it too =]

Responsible Blogging =]

Most of us are living in a happy family with parents, so am I.
I got Daddy who will protect me when was in trouble or someone was bullying me,
I got Mummy who will take care of me when I was sick or sad.
So how is your parents? Maybe some of the parents will using the wrong way to send their love and care, but got one thing that I am pretty sure, that is every parents love their children much, trust me =]

We should appreciate and be grateful that we have a perfect family with both Daddy and Mummy. No matter how is the relationship between you and your parents, at least you can tell everyone that you have Daddy and Mummy. But how about the life of the orphans? They don't even have the chance to argue with their parents, maybe they don't even know who are their parents. They have to grow up without the love from their parents, they have to be strong enough to take care and protect themselves. How you will become if without parents? Can you take care or protect yourself if you are still a child? I am sure that I can't , because my parents take care and protect me well since I was a baby.

Since we have a lot of loves from our parents and friends, then why don't we give some of the loves to the people who need it. So today I gonna tell you about an event in Penang, Responsible Blogging. This event is calling the bloggers to join in giving back to the community by visiting the orphanages. It's Chinese New Year, time to give back. How do you think? For me, I am soooooo interested to join, but I can't,*sad* because I am not in Penang that time, so what can I do is only help to spread the news to my friends, hope that more and more people will join or help.

They will visit three orphanages in this event, Asrama Ramakrishna, Children Protection Society and Shan Children's Home.
The event is on 3rd of February 2013, 12.00pm to 5.00pm, they will prepare a couch to pickup the bloggers who wanna join at Straits Quay, Penang. If you are interested, click here to register your name, Responsible Blogging.

In this event, we have to special thanks to Subway Suntech, Subway iAvenue, Subway Leith Street.

Special thanks to Chatime.

Special thanks to Ninetology Malaysia.

Special thanks to Langkawi  Coral (go green tourism).

Because of all this sponsor, we can have a lot of sandwiches, drinks and gadgets to give out to the orphans, THANK YOU =]

Anything you wish to know more about Responsible Blogging can check out their website.

That is for today, hope more and more people will involve themselves to help =]

15-01-2013 to 20-01-2013 =]

Hmmm, this few days I jump to morning shift already, that is why I can do a short update here =]
It was about the module training I went few days ago, kind like training our products knowledge, skills of communicate with guests and bla bla bla xD The module was five days totally including the grooming workshop (I did nothing during the grooming workshop I think xD)

First day we went for the grooming workshop, I realized that I broke almost all the grooming rules xD I wore lots of bracelet on my hand, wore anklet, fingernails long than the tips and the most serious, I didn't apply full make up, I only applied eyebrow sometimes like when I got to rush back to hometown, who got the free time to bath and cleaned the make up >< (but eyebrow are too important to me). They learned how to tie their longggg hair neatly and nice also, but too bad I am short hair xD

Started from day 2 we kept listening all about the so call products knowledge, OH MY GAWD, the times was like going through one hour with one second *yawning*, the best part was the free coupon we got everyday, Free Meal of course syiok merr *grin*

Until last day we got a presentation, (I almost forgot how to present after graduated), then we took a lotttt of pictures, let me show you some of it =]

They seems enjoy right? guys make up for guys @@
